In 2008 the country had gone so far to the right that the Republicans didn’t support their own healthcare plan. Obamacare was essentially the same plan Mitt Romney enacted and the one crafted by the Heritage Foundation. When you go far enough in either direction you end up in crazy land and that’s where we are. We need a new system and collapsing the current one is likely needed to be done before that can happen.
